Negi_letzte GM-Norm ermogelt?

Zitat:
Another update on Satka:Now I've got all games from Satka 2006 (group A). According to the pgn-file, Negi played all games together with the other competitors (so why did the Hindu say Negi finished the tournament two days ahead of time, when he drew Sherbakov July 1st?).
Based on the pgn-file, there were played two rounds on both June 28th (4 and 5) and June 30th (7 and 8). This still doesn't make any sense, when we look at when the web-page with the results was updated (June 28th: rounds 1-3, June 30th: rounds 1-5 (why not round 6?), July 2nd: rounds 1-7 (why not the complete results, or at least both round 7 and 8, which supposedly were played June 30th - quite absurd to update with round 7 results from two days back, and not include round 8, also played two days back). July 4th the home page of the tournament finally had complete results (rounds 1-9), and this, taken together with the Hindu's reports, more than suggest that the tournament actually finished July 3rd, not July 1st.
Satka was a 10 man round robin, featuring 45 games in total. In this tournament, 17 out of 45 games were drawn in 20 moves or less, actually averaging 12 (!) moves. (Tough tournament.) Negi's coach Sherbakov played 9 og these 17 games, and if we look at the 8 games he did _not_ play against Negi, they were draws in between 9 and 15 moves, with an average of 11 moves.
Of course Sherbakov had to give his all in the last round (to prove that he didn't let Negi get it for free? , so this was an agonizing 20 move draw, after 13 moves of theory (at least 70+ games in online DB), 14 moves that have been played by strong GMs before, and then 6 more moves that are new, when Negi plays a sub-optimal move at move 20 (leading to an about equal but highly unclear position) and offers the draw. Before black's 20th move, black (Negi) was about 0,5 pawn ahead according to my fritz8, but the position is unclear.
[Still following the pgn-file, Sherbakov didn't play round 8 on June 30th, but on July 1st (15 move draw against Nasybullin) - so he really went wild that day, with a staggering 35 moves in 2 games ]
Negi's last games went like this:
Round 5: 39 move draw in a Gruenfeld (infamous for its long, theoretical draw lines), after at least 29 moves of theory (a couple of FIDE 2000 players in my club know some 35 move-lines here... - reaching a known (not theoretical, but practiccal) drawn rook ending, which they also drew in 10 moves.
Round 6: 15 moves of theory in a Sicilian (Negi white), then (according to the pgn) <on move 23 Negi hangs a bishop> (puts it on a square just to be taken), which his opponent, a young and alert GM (27 years) does not see (?!?), and <the bishop is left hanging on move 24>, which is ignored by the GM for another move, before Negi on move 25 retracts it (ah... saved...), after which the GM plays his move 25 and offers a draw. Game over. Of course the pgn might be wrong - actually, I've already stated a couple of times that I think it doesn't quite tell the truth (and nothing, but the truth, etc.).
Round 7: 10 move draw against Nasybullin.
Round 8: 10 move draw against GM Dvoirys.
Round 9: 20 move draw against GM Sherbakov.
His three last games totalled 40 moves (13,3 average), or, put another way, in total 6 moves out of theory.
